Fraudulent job offers
We have come across a number of incidents whereby individuals and organisations are contacting people under the false pretence of offering employment opportunities that do not exist at Alliance Boots. The objective of these job offers is to trick the job seeker into making advanced payments or providing personal information in exchange for visas, air fares and other expenses. The recruiter/agent often demands several thousand dollars to be paid by Western Union transfer. Once the job offer turns out to be a fake, the recipient of the payment cannot be traced.
As a matter of policy, Alliance Boots never asks for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure a job, either as an employee or as a contractor.
